i'm sorry, but Teairra just never really had IT for me...at all. She just screams low budget to me. Rihanna had a HUGE hit and none of Teairra's singles really took off. And from what we know, she was the one they were focusing on more - more money spent, less return. On top of that, I hrd she had a really bad attitude and Im pretty sure her mouth got her into some trouble that made her a bit more difficult to work with. Maybe there were problems with her work ethic as well. Who knows what was going on behind the scenes.
Before a yr even went by, Rihanna alrdy released SOS which was smashing the charts and went to #1. At that point, it was prob just wise to put all your resources into the one artist and make even more money. Plus, at that point, Pop music was starting to be the new wave. Shit, even Christina Milian was offered SOS and rejected it and look what happened to her project? Sounds like just a smart business decision.
