Haven't Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake win BET awards over the years? Haven't other non-black artists like Teena Marie and Christina Aguilera performed on the stages?
The whole point of a BET or TV One is to show black children faces that LOOK like them (whether you think there's cooning on the station, that's a whole different argument).

Can't stand Stacy Dash or Raven Symone but that BET comment got me wanting to start a petition because I hate that channel and it is a big misrepresentation of our ppl. The fact that there was no coverage of the Million Man March was more than enough for me. I haven't watched BET since and don't care to.
