Yeah a refund and one month free online Betterhelp isn't going to be the solution. There are people who need money for years of therapy by professional psychiatrists. But I doubt Travis will have to pay, Live Nation probably has to..

NRG park only had 26 million dollars of liability insurance (1 million primary coverage with a 25 million dollar umbrella). No wonder the first lawyers handed in these documents so quickly with only half a story. The first people will probably get a chunk of this money and the rest will have to wait in line.

Pretty sure this will just BARELY cover the funerals that are just so expensive

Annie

Normally in wrongful death suits family of victims can get paid anything from 500k to 2 million. So it's not just the actual funeral costs, it's also money people get for losing their loved one because the victims were not protected and their deaths could have been prevented.

No money in the world can fix this. THIS is grief.

Attorney Thomas J. Henry sues Travis Scott for $2 billion

The Astroworld Festival lawsuits keep coming, and they continue to get bigger and bigger. San Antonio-based attorney Thomas J. Henry Thursday filed a massive $2 billion lawsuit on behalf of 282 victims of the concert tragedy that left 10 people dead and hundreds injured. The lawsuit names headliner Travis Scott, performer Drake, Apple Music, Live Nation and Houston's NRG Stadium.

"The defendants stood to make an exorbitant amount of money off this event, and they still chose to cut corners, cut costs, and put attendees at risk," said Henry in a Thursday news release. "My clients want to ensure the defendants are held responsible for their actions, and they want to send the message to all performers, event organizers, and promoters that what happened at Astroworld cannot happen again."

In a Nov. 12 interview with Hollywood Life, Henry said the victims he is representing are spread in age from teenagers to age 40.

"They have injuries ranging from heart attacks, to heart issues, to brain injuries, to spinal injuries, to broken bones, broken legs, eye injuries, internal organ injuries, bruising and bleeding," Henry said, adding victims also suffered emotionally. "Those who were injured are still very traumatized because they had to step over dead bodies. They didn't have a choice because there was nowhere to move. These people were trapped. The crushing effect was so heavy and hard. They couldn't breathe. They couldn't get out.

"Henry's action comes on the heels of Houston attorney Tony Buzbee's $750 million lawsuit filed Tuesday also against Scott, Drake, Live Nation, Epic Records, Apple Music and other parties associated with the festival. The suit is on behalf of 125 concert-goers, including the family of 21-year-old Axel Acosta who died following a deadly crowd surge at the concert on Nov. 5.

Buzbee this week said he plans to file a suit on behalf of another 100 individuals soon. A subsequent lawsuit from Henry will also likely come out soon since another 120 victims have contacted the firm to seek representation for injuries and damages, according to the release.

Lawsuits filed
Buzbee: 125 people - 750 million
Henry: 282 people - 2 billion
I think there are also multiple lawsuits by individuals

Future lawsuits
Buzbee: 100 people
Henry: 120 people
