He always emphasizes how important loyalty is to him and how he needs to me to be his ride-or-die bitch so this is actually refreshing. King really lives that life and I'm here for it.

i see both sides.  Its his bro of course he is gonna try to help out.  he should have been a little more slick.  Maybe had someone else do the dirty work for him

if his ethics and professional are in question over helping his BROTHER, thats pretty idiotic on the part of whomever is questioning that.

family >>>> a job

chris did nothing wrong and CNN has no right to react to this.
babe , u have to understand that companies don't think emotionally and with understanding for family dynamics with things like this

Many actually have policies that explicitly restrict their employees from helping their families (anti nepotism) and will ask prospective employees if they have any relatives within their company before onboarding . Many will never allow someone's family member to report directly to them .

Companies obviously understand why people wanna help their families , but they have to protect the reputation of their business.

It's business . The goal is to maintain a high standard of ethics and fairness . This was a case involving serious allegations of sexual misconduct .

I actually agree with u that there's nothing "wrong" with Chris helping his brother with CNN connections.

But as for business , it's a bad look. And I can see why CNN is quick to let everyone know they're taking this seriously.

I 100% see both sides

nepotism has nothing to do with this. those policies are in regard to people helping their families WITHIN a company. not outside situations. and its not a matter of thinking emotionally, imo.

but we can agree to disagree.
well obviously nepotism is specifically an internal thing but I'm speaking to a larger more general stance companies take in regard to employees misusing their position in the company to help family members

There's a correlation here. Ethics and professionalism

Letting your love for family members influence decisions that can ultimately strip you of your bag

And following that entire "fake news" campaign that Trump and his supporters dragged CNN through , they're not in a position to say "oh that's his brother let him mess a lil bit y'all"

This is business . I'm sure they love Chris and would prefer not to lash him but ... this is business

Not Disneyland . Bottom line is that it's not a good look and people WILL use this against their organization.

U have to think bigger than "he's just helpin out his brother". Of course he is. Who wouldn't . Lol but there are consequences . Again , this is a business and CNN has to clean this up and stay ahead of it .

right.

I think any human being with one ounce of common sense can understand why Chris did what he did lol it's his brother

Duh! No ones questioning that and I'm sure many of us would do the same if we were in that position.

It's not to judge his behavior , it's an understanding of consequences that follow it.

Just like someone getting BOOKED for giving their cousin an extra order of fries they didn't pay for . I understand why youre using ur position behind the register to give them the hook up. Theyre ur people. Cool. But yea dat ass still gettin written up.
