I'm really trying to understand why she's so quiet and doing these sporadic releases

when there are artists with less resources who do way more

I think the problem is that this girl isn't an artist. She's the kind of person that would do better with a label push, which she clearly isn't getting.

!!! Real artists don't move like this IMO. I could see if she was writing every song herself like a Solange or somebody...but you have a team of writers and producers....

I appreciate that she doesn't want to just throw ANYTHING out there, but it shouldn't be this much of a struggle to come up with a good body of work

sssdsssd it really is hard to do what they do though. Rushing something out (i know she's taking forever) only for people to say it sucks and move on a week later wouldn't benefit anyone either. People don't sit with albums and really listen anymore unless it's someone popular

This is why I feel bad for her cause let's face it, anything she puts out isn't gonna do much better thst wild side sis.
Unless she has a huge label push or a Taylor swift feature i don't see her doing any big numbers

Normani has this inflated sense of her work. With the way she talked, I would've expected Wild Side to be this groundbreaking sonic experience and it was lack luster with a big focus on visuals. Now she is doing the same with the album, and it will likely be a collection of good/okay songs. I doubt it will the sonic masterpiece she thinks it is.
