and joe Jackson just seemed toxic as fuck
I don't get a feeling he was reassuring them of how beautiful Blackness is. And how beautiful they were.
On top of that they had seemingly unlimited resources/cash to play with. And was like the most famous family unit in the world ... being picked apart by the media and constantly in the limelight tryna find their footing in a white dominated industry which pushed a Hollywood standard of beauty that looked nothing like them
It was kinda the perfect recipe for mess . I can hardly blame them.
