I'd much prefer James as the main writer TBH. I feel like he does a better job of coming up with complete songs with interesting and complex melodies. Victoria is good but a lot of her songs give me an interlude tea/don't end up going anywhere.

I wouldnt say that at all. Victoria knows how to write hits. And personally, if I was told shes the main writer for B8, I'd be fucking stoked.

Honestly I hope she works with people that no one in here has named. Brandy said she wants to experiment and try new sounds and see what she can do.

The same old R&B producers and writers aren't it.

She's been there and done that even if she hasn't worked with some of them yet like JD.

I hope to see her link up with writers and producers that are completely different and deliver something totally unexpected.

I really want Bran in her alternative/mellow pop bag and I also want her in a good ass r&b bag. Bran needs some HITS! I'm tired of them giving our girl the leftovers or stuff underperforming. She needs fresh, new and young people around her to curate some sounds that are popular right now and some new sounds.

She also needs to make sure those DOJA and Weeknd collabs happen. If the Wknd can get on that Aaliyah song that sounded a mess and went nowhere, he def can give Bran a collab. Also, just b/c a producer is hot doesn't mean they are right for Brandy. I don't see what Hit boy can do for her and I don't want James giving her no old sounding mess.

I hope she came thru and actually collaborated with K.Michelle. Bran needs to be everywhere that she is able to be and reconnect w/ her urban female audience as well.

I love B7 so much that I can't even imagine a new Brandy album. I know that sounds weird, but it felt like a closing of her catalog.

If/When she does new music I'd like her to go head first into a new genre. Maybe country or afrobeat. I feel she could bring so much more to the music conversation in other areas.
