I'm sorry what's the issue? If they're not @ing him with those comments, i don't find no problem with viewers stating their honest opinions. His agents should have set him down and prepared him for stuff like this. It comes with the job to be critique from every angle! I'm sure hes heard worst from a casting director. 

Plus, this happens with remakes and reboots. People would compare you to the original in some way. People have rhe right, to say if they felt you were right for the role. In your talent or looks... .....
