I hate the "she's a kid acting like a kid"- that's pure bullshit.  The girl clearly looks old enough to know what she's doing.  I'm glad he lashed her, and her parents need to be next.

High schoolers are disrespectful as fuck. Don't minimize that. They'll throw textbooks at the teacher's back as they're writing on the board, cuss them out, pull off their wigs, disrupt the class, talk back, square up, etc. Teachers are overworked and underpaid. I genuinely FEEL him here. It's not fucking worth it. He'll be better off.

That's what I'm getting at. Clearly he is the adult and all the way in the wrong but todays students are SHIT we all know this.

Students are horrible these days you know this. I'm not saying he should have I'm saying I can see why he went off. Simple as that.

If it that's widely and well known that children in schools are absolutely horrible and will force you to suddenly morph into a racist  he should have gotten the memo and not taken the job to begin with

Not everyone is cut out to be a teacher, that's for sure.

Precisely so if u can't deal then.....well..... DON'T! There are some kids who are gonna be a hassle and try ur patience.  That's the kinda shit u sign up for when ur committing yourself to a life in teaching.  That's like a cop complaining about having to deal with criminals sometimes

The last paragraph in the OP's post says that minority students make up 40% of the school with 20% of them being black. Based off PURE probability the majority of kids in that class were white. I don't think you would've took it that way if the recording student was white. It just happened to be Tyeisha.
