this is exactly how i feel

we dont know how much jada has cried about this

what a horrible thing for a younger woman to go through

my grandmother feels some type of way about her hair loss and it was due to very old age
something expected...nothing that unexpectedly impacted her in her youth
and it still affects her and she keeps hope it'll grow back , even though obviously chances are it won't.

so i can only imagine what jada is going through at her age.

I've been natural for 5 years. I over-relaxed my hair and failed to care and attend to it under wigs. The damage was irreversible and I had to start over with a big chop. I cried before I did it because I was upset at my negligence and thought that I would be manly and unattractive. It has feel worse when you're balding due to no reason of your own. It might seem minimal and superficial but our hair is a hugepart of our identity. It was a low blow and the Uncle Tom ass nigga deserved the slap.

Jada has been damn near bald almost her entire career. I'm not minimizing her condition but a lot of these theories about how hurt she might have been is just conjecture. Will was out of line regardless of how you feel about Chris Rock. I'm taken aback at the excuses.

there's a difference between rocking/preferring short natural hairstyles and having a condition strip you of all options when it comes to ur natural hair.

jada clearly loved a short cut when it came to her natural tresses but she was rarely shaved completely bald.
