I just checked the song, I like the vibe overall but again the production is missing some bass..I don't know it feels like it needs more. I agree a Jhene, Brandy or Sade could deliver this with more emotion or interesting background vocals. And it's strange to pick this song a single..but hopefully the music video will be good.

I liked this performance better than the original audio (with more instruments, I doubt it's live but anyways). She looked great and I think she's definitely got potential.

I actually heard Fair on Alicia Key's Unthinkable beat and it sounds sooo much better. The only version I listen to now. I think thats what the song needed. A better production.

Maybe it's me but I listen to a lot of hiphop producers and the way they use samples and bass is so different from a lot of producers today. Kanye, Premier, Neptunes, Timbaland.. They really think about creating a complete band instead of a computer beat and some sound effects. That's also why Darkchild and Bran had so much magic and for example Aaliyah's OIAM and red album became classics.
