The original cover looks so beautiful and the concept for a children's book is amazing. There are similarities: the title, concept, cover. What a shame. Maybe Ashanti had a ghostwriter who copied and pasted this, I don't know what to say. The author should definitely research legal options.

You can tell from the tweets the original author is very heartbroken about what happened. It's just sad that she doubts whether she wants to stay in the industry. I just googled a couple of pages from her book and it looks magical. I really hope this will give her more attention.
