Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people primarily located in Russia.
There are only 3,000 Kalmyk descendants in America - and less than 200,000 worldwide.

yeah but countess was def thrown into the "bigger girl" category at the time

even in her acting...they made her weight a focus on a couple episodes of moesha

she was just a thicker girl IMO not outta control obese like GODly was.
but not slender enough to escape that label/typecasting.

or "pretty" enough. that def played into it as well IMO.

well " looks" are apart of a lot of episodes for actors of many different tv shows. countess wasnt the only one.

but i get you.  i think once her family realized the music wasnt gonna happen they focused on acting BUT they coulda came back and tried.  had her singing background like missy and kelly weas doing back in the day.

She was funny and she could sing but nowhere near Kelly's level nor Brandy's level. I didn't see her talent as an ARTIST.
