She is rich and beautiful and legacy is already sealed up, so it has been long overdue to do whatever she wants.  I don't even think she's that interested in music anymore and prefers acting, so I can see her next album not coming out for a few years.

No, she didn't HAVE to respond but...Years ago, if an artist, especially an up-and-coming one gaining popularity mentioned her, and she didn't respond by dropping music or something, folks would've still complained that she doesn't capitalize on opportunities like that, because you'll never know when they come. Idk who this Jack atlas dude is, but I give props to her for dropping something related to music to remind folks of her musical prowess. I couldn't see her doing this a few years ago.

People will always complain so it's good that she does what she wants.  Rap, be silly, wear her braids, act, wear her bohemian clothes, be rich, and beautiful and sing whenever she feels like it.  It's good that she finally has I don't give a fck attitude after all these years. This song isn't even a diss.

That's not true, she loves music more than anything...I just don't think that she likes the industry side of it and the whole process of actually putting it out. That "I'm always in my head" line was true asf. She overthinks it and still moves like its 1998 when the industry is totally different....acting is safer.
