I remember hearing that she was just very difficult to production, late to scenes, etc. so they demoted her last season to punish her a bit

That and she also didn't like her contract or some shit so she went to Mexico or something the week they were supposed to start filming so they demoted her

As big as Mariah's ego is, if she was making that type of money off the show she would have gloated about it. And why would she be in cahoots with Nene If she the show was still paying her?
