Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated to be only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

Btw, speaking of Formation.. Renaissance sort of exposed her for what she was. In hindsight she was great for live performance and visuals but the song itself isn't that good beyond the first verse.

Quote from: Cartierline on November 13, 2022, 03:32:50 AMYeah Formation is and always has been overrated
Not too fckn much disrespect bc the visuals and performance are otherworldly and propel the entire mess. The song itself is meh after the Red Lobster chant but her performing it live makes it one of her best songs.

I always felt that way about Single Ladies as well. The song is okay but the way she sold those 2 particularly with the vidyas/lives made them excellent singles. That's all I'm pointing out with Renaissance. Goddess said you're gonna get into this damn AUDIO before I give you anything visually this time.
