The first few songs leading up to Break My Soul are all FIRE. I was so damn impressed.

Then after that, its a hit or miss. Its very clear why Break My Soul was the 1st single.

Overall, not a bad album on my first couple listens, but a lot of the songs lack good melody and sometimes the beat switches are lackluster.

Well, I'm not saying all the songs after Break My Soul are bad. There are some good ones, but from Break My Soul, its a hit or miss. Its almost like the ride I was on leading up to Break My Soul kinda got messed up a bit afterwards with the inconsistency. This album is definitely for me her least digestible album. It'll take a few listens for me to really feel it. Kinda like Kendrick's. And I'm just not sure if I care to really get in. I do wish there were at least 4 or 5 songs that were simpler in their song structure instead of this experimental half-baked Kaytranda meets afrobeats/dance mess. I do appreciate her for experimenting though. Maybe her next 1 or 2 Acts will feature more str8 forward songs. Prob some R&B ballads and the like.

I didnt want that on this album. It wouldn't fit at all. Thats why I say Act II or Ac III will prob have that. And I'm sure it will.
