I love that Rihanna did something very different on the album and experimented with different sounds and live instruments. She's using her voice differently. It really shows growth and her stepping out of the unexpected. Not my fave album of hers but I respect her for doing something different. I'm sure she turned down a few regular bops that was sent to her.
