I thought The Dream himself is the one who initiated the direct comparison to Diane saying she doesn't want it with him on the writing tip

i saw what he said and didn't even bother to entertain it as they clearly have their own lanes

However someone else did bring it up on Diane's behalf saying that her work is so much "deeper" 🙄 and that's when we got started on the comparisons

That whole deep mess was completely ridiculous to me. Just cuz a song is slower and more dramatic sounding doesn't automatically make its message and/or overall content  more meaningful . IMO

And if someone were to ask me "fro who is more talented Diane or dream " I honestly would have a problem finding an answer cuz they are so different

But what I do know is that I wasn't bout to let the gorls diminish dreams tea cuz it s not "deep " like Dianne's . When imo Dianne's mess is just as fluffy and trendy as the next persons mess .

Just as France said himself , Diane was on TRENDS of the 90s . She wasn't doing anything super left field or life changing .

If anything I'm keeping them both in the same box while stating I have a preference for the knock.

 Not saying dream is way more talented or better or anything . But Dianne isn't some super forward and deep writer. That's all
