I hope Brandy is a part of Kenya Barris's adaption of The Wizard of Oz. It'll be a full circle moment when she was casts as Dorothy all those years ago for the ABC special that never went into production.

This was in 2001 back when ABC planned to do a hip-hop adaptation of Wizard of Oz and she was casts as Dorothy.

Ohhh that one, that was supposed to have Busta and Ginuwine.  I actually like that premise especially for that time. Not sure why they didn't go forward with that. Ashanti eventually played Dorothy for ABC just a few years later. But it definitely wasn't the same script.

I'm really hopeful Kenya Barris brings her in for Glinda in the upcoming adaptation. There's no reason Brandy doesn't have a version of The Wizard of Oz on her resume.

I would support Brandy if she happens to join his production. But i don't see it doing too much for her acting career right now; Brandy needs a challenge and something that could generate a lot buzz for herself imo.

I would love if she can get on a drama that turns hugely popular.  When she goes back to Broadway I think if possible she should tap LaTanya Richardson as a coach.
