The Velvet Rope should be in the top 10 tbh the whole rollout was perfect I remember ..her speaking voice in the commercial, the concept, the poetry, the artistry. She served. With that album she proved to me that she should be taken more seriously as an artist.

I think she's making the point of why are you comparing them in the first place since they are different genres? Nirvana and Alanis certainly wouldn't be in the same category as Janet at a music awards show.
