Did y'all have immediate standout tracks from Ctrl tho? I don't remember them popping out for me until maybe 10 listens later..

The first half of the album is solid as hell. I think her label might have been ambitious by making her release a 23-track album because they know she likes to take her time based off her recent interview with Hot 97 it was apparent that she was resistant to releasing the album.

I love Kill Bill. Definitely my favorite track on this album! Nobody Gets Me and Open Arms are good songs too. Travis Scott wasn't needed though (he kinda ruins the mood with his disgusting autotuned vocal).
Loved the way they sampled Björk's Hidden Place on Forgiveless.

But honestly, this album could have been reduced to an EP. There are so many fillers. But maybe they will grow on me.

Ctrl had to grow on me after several listens but I am enjoying SOS a lot faster. Yes it could've been shorter but it's all good music and I'm not mad it it since she'a now "retired."
