Yeah she def went in on her! I think she could've kept it calm at "it's Ms. Angelou"

The girl seemed sweet too and corrected herself immediately. I understand why Maya did that as a respect your elders thing but it was lowkey too much

I disagree. In general I wouldn't call a senior citizen from around the way by their first name, much less someone as revered her. Even with older co-workers it's Ms. Glenda and Ms. Beverly. It ain't natural for me to just say their first name.
