ultimately if someone's sitting around giving commentary on someone else...

that person has the right to respond to it and attempt to defend themselves

not everyone's gonna sit around and act "unbothered" when they really are.

and some people may genuinely not care about the mess at all and won't take time to respond .

mo'nique felt a need to respond to the talk that was put out about her, and i'd say it's reasonable to say it's well within her right to do so.

if i don't want problems with someone , especially someone who i already have a strained relationship with (like mo'nique and kim)...you're not gonna find me, at my grown age in 2023, sitting around chatting about them on camera / in public or even nodding and agreeing to MESS about them knowing we don't use each other. they don't exist to me and good luck to them.

and don't talk about them around me cuz i dont wanna be pulled into the mess you're clearly asking for.

it's kind of like Brandy in her clap back era we talk about on here. She just knew she was proving a point "tough now! Not a punk anymore!" But everyone on here was worried about her mental health, she got fat, wasn't putting out good music. Ppl were even siding with Monica and saying Bran was wrong and dissing her in her performances. Responding to every negative comment was getting her nowhere

It's the pattern. How many ppl has she had issues with? At some point she has to look in the mirror. Everyone isn't randomly having issues with her for no reason.
and what's really crazy is no one can deny how talented she is. Even these shady women that don't like her still had to admit she killed the role, but it's hard to be happy for a mean person. One day it's gonna be just her and her husband and she's gonna need ppl but will have pushed everyone away
