Since Bran finished filming her part of the movie last month maybe she's been off of IG this month to get the fillers removed. She may have realized since getting back from atl that they don't look good.

I think Bran sees her non-Ryan employees as family, so she becomes hesitant to fire them. Think the only reason she stopped working with Derek Blanks after the positive public reception of the first pics Blair took. Bran is a pop culture icon and is in the biggest year of her acting career. This 1st look was posted by every major US media outlet & foreign ones. 

Vaughn doesn't have much to show for his many years as publicist. She needs to be everywhere leading up to the film festivals for the front room. Even when she had no music out a good publicist would have done wonders. When the acting award season approaches part of it in addition to studios campaigning is the actor's publicist doing their job with visibility. Bran will become an EGOT winner one day.

Bran likes being visible. She was excited about Ryan booking her 2020 Billboard performance.  Leading up to the release of The Woman King Viola's publicist had her on Elle Brazil and several covers.  Michelle Yeoh's publicist had her everywhere last year even after EEAO came out to help with her acting campaign.
