The only time I saw Bran was when Whitney and Bobby were at the bar and she gave him the ring. That scene had like Star/Cassie vibes

Watched it last night because of this thread.

She looked just like Brandy when her and Bobby arrived to the read carpet and they had on all red. Even the way she was talking gave Brandy.

They made Robin look like a raging dyke in the movie

I started watching the movie yesterday and finished today, I thought the actress did a great job and I enjoyed.

A few of you mentioned how it looks like a parody but that's the difficulty with portraying celebrities who have lived post ≈2003 and beyond. Because we see so many clips, videos, posts, etc from them, it's hard to accept adaptations since we easily refer to the actual footage. There are tons of clips that we see of Whitney on the internet so it's hard to believe in pretty much anyone else portraying her.

Never thought about that before but drugs really could've been the main reason for her dealing with that situation and not being able to be happy with the one she truly loved..
