Now let's talk about why a 5 million selling album would be a bad thing 

Trying to understand this as well.
Going to war over the number like it's bad.

Wouldn't it make more sense the album did 5 million and then the next selling almost half of that rather than selling 16m (which it didn't) and the going on to do 1million only with the next album?
