"Come a Little Closer" is a soft pop ballad that was originally written for NSYNC's Celebrity (2001) but eventually recorded by Canadian boy band I.D. Titled "Make It Last Forever," it appeared on their debut album Identically Different (2001).

I remember Brandy said she was in the studio and the producer was working in a different room. She heard the song and hijacked it, but it was also released on another boyband's album.

By the way I checked the Come a bit closer song on YouTube the other day and I have noticed there's a lot of love for the song in South Africa..really random to see so many comments from SA showing love. (Maybe it's because someone on Idols sang this song a couple of years ago. Don't know the details)
