I don't think it's unusual that so many are feeling badly for the teen. He was ONLY 19. Had his whole life ahead of him. And with the info coming out that he didn't really want to do it, makes it even sadder

Because literally everyone's been talking about how they knew what they were getting themselves into.

But I agree that I was wrong/harsh about the 19 year old specifically. He was just following his father who should've known better.

I'm not even talking about the people just making edgy jokes though. There were plenty of serious people who expressed concern for the lives but also recognized how idiotic getting in that grossly ill-equipped tube was. And there's nothing wrong with stating that. I'm not happy or kiing that these people died by any means but it was pretty self-inflicted for MOST of them. The CEO bragged about cutting corners and endangering lives, so I'm not about to pretend to be sad for him.

But, as I already said, I was wrong about the 19 year old and shouldn't have jumped to certain conclusions there.
