Well she also mentioned context, so to me, that says that maybe she thinks there's a time and a place where acting like you're doing a split on a dick is fine. Essence fest in particular could definitely fill those seats without a pussy popper on the roster, but I do agree that the "problem" as a whole is definitely a reflection of what consumers largely demand. And it is all by design, so one day we will have to wake it the fuck up and do better .... rap culture, male and female sides, is detrimental to our community. It promotes degenerative behavior and again it's by design. The same way the powers that be kicked the Teen Summits, Cosby Show, Different World, and other positive Black reinforcements out the game, is the same way they let the sex, drugs, guns, thugs, mumble rap (which to me promotes illiteracy, and lazy speech) take over. We didnt collectively just abandon "quality" entertainment, we became fiends for what they were offering us. We think its trivial when people say "you dont see Taylor swift beefing with so and so", and "other cultures don't blah blah blah" ..... some of us give a "whY yoU woRriEd aBouT whAt WhiTe pEoPle tHinK" in response..... but its not only about perception, it's about what is actually happening to us being influenced by what they allow us to consume. There's so many layers and ways to go on this, even the way these grown men are "babies, Lil, and young" in their stage names, its a subconcious mindset they want to keep us in. Its all by design. But money makes the world go round so as long as entertainers are rewarded for bad behavior.... this is what it is.
