The other guy claiming him as his bf means nothing if he doesn't claim him back. It takes 2 people to be in an actual relationship. So if he just went with the flow and didnt speak up, he needed to.

Lonz was PREACHING a bit. It's a tough position to be in but you'll have to cut him off unless there's been some real change/growth. It's obvious you want to be with him and he does too but it doesn't sound like you can accept his stipulations. I would say to go the fwb route but it's clear that neither one of you are capable of that without catching feelings which is fine but you have to be honest with yourself.
