She sounds like NSN-Brandy with a dash of Human era. She can definitely sing but I don't like how she uses her voice, too breathy and nasal for me.

I really wish she had the right ppl around her to push her and go in this direction, she has the perfect voice for it....give us a series of EP's and start to really get her name out there...Sy'rai needs to go be inspired outside of LA and get a mentor/vocal coach that can really nurse her talent...tired of the baby voice and late songs

It was wild to me that she didn't think she had the range to sing "Camouflage"

I think that's because like u said she doesn't use her voice to the best of its ability

Now that she's gotten her look mostly together, it would be smart to work with a vocal coach since singing is her true passion.

I love her personality.

In my opinion trying to sound too much like Brandy isn't going to help her and she is far far away from Brandy's vocal abilities at her age. Syrai has the beauty and the drive to do good but as a singer?  I don't know. She has just an okay voice for me whereas Brandy had so much more depth and soul to her voice. Not everyone is meant to be a singer let's just face it. She should get with Willow and work on some rock or pop I would love to see a black girl slay the county genre too. It's so many opportunities and she's misguided and missing out trying to  follow in her mom's shadow.

she is clearly imitating Brandy's singing, she is even recording covers of her songs and she is not putting her own spin on then or anything. Lol
