Fuck it, imma say it. This is the first miss album from her.

This does not feel like Christmas AT ALL. Minus 3 tracks. Half of the songs her diction is so bad that you literally can't tell what she is saying. Before y'all come attacking me, I love Queen and she is and will forever be my #1. But admittedly will say this was a major miss.

Now the SOUND is cute. If these songs weren't meant for Christmas and Brandynese wasn't in full effect, I'd be talking differently.

I appreciate the project as it is. I love Someday at Christmas, Jingle Bells, and a few others.

I like how she is singing in her higher register but leaning into her light lyric soprano and airy tone to hit the higher notes rather than pushing for that dramatic soprano sound.

Love Christmas Everyday as well. But I don't like the nasally tone in some parts. I wish she had given some harder belts. Like for Someday at Christmas where the momentum builds she could have went higher with falsetto or a hard belt but she didn't really take it there. But I still love the song.

I know Brandy is very creative in how she approaches her vocal delivery to craft her own sound and I think she accomplished that. Just wish she would step outside of that pocket and go off in a string of songs. The album is kind of a lo fi vibe and that's cool too.

This is my only gripe! Its like her voice is pure tone, which is lovely, but I agree with this. I'm enjoying the songs tho
