Regardless of how bad the reviewer was I don't like this era that we're in now where critics are afraid to do their jobs because some Stans might dox them. The critics back in the day vs now are way different because of this


And even if all of her critiques were legitimate y'all still would be pissed, so—

That's how I feel with most things related to Bey. I appreciate when someone (respectfully) critiques her because most people are followers so the "praise" is the fakest shit.

I don't think Bey is "overhyped" as an artist in general. But I feel like her fans overhype and fake live for a lot of things she does, knowing damn well they're not impressed nor SATISFIED. There's a culture of exempting Bey from any backlash, and she knows it. This is why she stay giving fans bare minimum mess, knowing yall gonna support it regardless (e.g., ivy park, no visual album/music videos, etc.).

She really be playing in y'all faces sometimes, and that's why I can't just get fully on board with her.
