i was confused too cuz it seems so random

I was thinking Black Americans have absolutely no ties with these people (from what I know ..I could be wrong) ... what is it about them that makes us defend them ?

But I guess it's the fact that Palestinians seem to be the "underdog" of what's going on in the Middle East. The "oppressed" , the "attacked".

So I can understand that resonating with and maybe even triggering Black folks.
