The parents in the back screaming all the cuss words they skipped
Just...
the fact that the kids skipped the curse words tells me there are at least some boundaries in place from the parents
some could argue that they shouldn't be listening to this at all, and id be inclined to agree
but at least there's a line somewhere.
line being: there are words adults can say but you cannot
which means when they go to school they'll remember that.
its not completely out of control. obviously a lot but not completely wild.
Nnnnn now you know very well we all used to cuss at school with our friends when our parents weren't around
I agree with the rest of the post tho
honestly that's what makes me question the effectiveness of being super strict about certain things
And acting like your kids won't hear a tea once they leave the house
If anything this seems to be allowing them to experience what they will inevitably encounter , but with important boundaries and rules still in place (no cursing).
They won't get expelled from school for repeating "hands on ur knees" , as it is something seemingly innocent and even childlike if someone doesn't know the context.
But they'd def get in trouble for cursing.
So even if they do it at school, they'd most likely know to make sure an adult doesn't HEAR them doing it. Cuz it'll get back to their parents who've made it clear they shouldn't be doing it.
And that's a real life lesson. We all do and say shit we "shouldn't" even as adults, while knowing how to cover your ass so you don't face consequences - especially over something relatively trivial.
