it cant be that normal if taraji recognized it was a problem.

having food on set is like a bare minimum.

im no one's millionaire and could have a lil something catered every day if i had 15 people in my home for a while.

nice lil finger sandwiches, chips, juice, bottled waters, fruit, veggies n dip, bagels, cream cheese....
like....something to show you're interested in making sure they're taken care of, even in the smallest ways

does't have to be caviar and personal chefs on deck

i can understand someone being offended if that's not provided

and it benefits the production IMO. u want everyone to be energized, fresh and not cranky.

This is how I feel even though agree black actresses are underpaid and get the short end of the stick.
But pay and accommodations are heavily based on one's team negotiation skills and if the actor can sell movie tickets and generate high viewership for TV shows.

Now it did come out years ago during that Sony email scandal of a producer questioning Denzel's selling power, so racism is still at play even when one has the box office numbers and awards as top billed.
Will Smith discussed the hurdles decades ago with studios being racist and not feeling he could sell.
If one is a box office draw it does help a lot when their team negotiates.

Who said that was the original budget? Take Oprah and Steven out of the equation what kinda of budget do you think they got now? It's nice that Taraji is using her clout to cater to her castmates I just hope they turn a profit. And this will all come up when she's asking for a raise for her next film. Taraji is top bill here I hope it works out for her.
