I personally love Lil Nas X for who he is and what he brings to the table. He's adorable but he clearly has the wrong people surrounding him if they thought this was the route to go. Montero worked because it was shocking for him at the time coming from OTR success and recently come out as gay but the music also left a lasting impression. He's tried several times to replicate that shock since but the music isn't catchy enough plus the antics just look desperate and cheap atp.

many people have said that a lot of his success was a fluke and he's addressed that in some of his songs

I just hope that in his quest to prove them wrong or "stay on top" he doesn't lose himself .

Fame can be dangerously addicting and sometimes people go to extremes when they feel they're losing their grip on it.

The fact that people can be supporting and hyping you one minute and moving on from you the next minute is a lot to fucking process. But that's the business

He's more than enough and I hope he knows that ❤️ beautiful self

Like, You knew wtf you were doing, you knew this would cause an uproar, that's why you DID IT, and it FLOPPED. I lost even more respect for him now.... Stand in your mess and take the flop like a real faggot.

And I actually like(d) Lil Nas too but for him to sit here and play like he wasnt mocking Jesus and Christianity is fucking WILD. :uhh: :uhh:

I'm kinda glad that people didn't bite the bait and feed into his antics. Let him learn from this flop, and sadly I actually liked the song/video, but I'm also SICK of his gimmicks. What else do you have for us?

Yea, he needs to realize and adjust to the fact that people aren't as loyal as he thinks. Like I said before, he has a great ear for hits but that doesn't mean that you'll always hit. Accept your place as a celebrity and put out some good sounds instead of insisting on being a main pop gor for generations.

Right. He'd be continuing to troll throughout the year had he seen Montero success.

Nine

I'll give him props for (somewhat) owning it and apologizing.

But I don't like the backtracking and reverse engineering.

he knew what he was doing. it just backfired this time.

Purple Moon

Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...
