I def didn't think trump was winning last time

Covid IMO kicked his ass and drastically reduced his chances of re-election

People were scared , very unsure about the future and needed something more promising than someone making fun of China at every given opportunity

He did not take it seriously initially , and his denial left the country behind in our response to what was quickly becoming the most life altering and life threatening thing many of us will ever see in our lifetime 

After he fumbled the ball with his late response to the outbreak , he had no time to recover and regain a lot of trust he lost. It was already time for elections.

Without COVID , I woulda said Trump maybe had a chance in 2020.

People thought he was going to win last time.. And he didn't. If any of us had to explain why he didn't win it wouldn't just be some easy answer. Multiple issues from handling of the pandemic to just lower enthusiasm. People were tired of his shit, period. Those 4 years were pure chaos.. Constant turn over in his administration when the hires were incompetent in the first place, constantly antagonizing every race of people, encouraging police brutality.. Hell he didn't even "build the wall" right. MAGA is an idea/cult.. It's not an effective way to govern. Trump is an idiot in general. Oh but he gave stimulus checks right? So did Biden

And now after Trump's supreme court justices killed abortion rights, all the mass shootings, the insurrection he INCITED after he lost, his promises to "be a dictator", also being found liable for rape and charged for 90+ other counts of financial fraud and other wrongdoing and people simply don't want to do it again. We're talking about real voters, not noisy people on social media. Independents and moderate Republicans are voting for Hailey. Also the states that decide elections are in the rust belt. We already know Texas and Florida are going to be red lol. Rust belt states are probably even more pro Biden now, especially with union workers.

Presidential elections are always close because of how the electoral college works. Democrats usually win the popular vote by millions. All this to say this ain't nowhere near in the bag for trump. Y'all are blinded by media and your own biases against Biden.

The thing I find funny is the black people talking about genocide in Palestine, while not commenting on the genocide taking place in African nations.  It really lets me know how much people are influenced my social media and what's trendy.

Like I totally understand why ANYBODY would be alarmed at the situation... but I been blocking anybody that constantly mentions Palestine on Twitter because it's so over the top and disgusting. Y'all ain't never seen that flag before in your life and now you got two emoji before and after your handle? That's your whole personality now? This conflict isn't new and their plight is NOT analogous to black Americans. It's giving troll farm and crisis actor. There are other leaders involved and they have been refusing ceasefire. Foreign policy is extremely complicated and regardless of what Biden does, the girls are going to lay it at his feet. There are actual military leaders and foreign policy experts involved on both sides. Hell, most of the people talking about it in this thread either don't live in the US or wasn't gon vote for Biden anyway. Are the girls real humanitarians now or just riding engagement trains?

The difference with Palestine is the amount of people killed in such a short period of time. 25,000+ in a few months and a whole region mowed down by planes and bombs.

if some Black Americans don't have enough emotional bandwidth left to lend to another group of people that they have no connection to , I'd say there's good reason for that.

Polls are never 100% accurate. Everyone knows that. But have you been paying attention to any of the caucuses right now? Every projection had Trump winning. Only Nikki being close to him in New Hampshire and he SMOKED her.

The only hope is Trump ACTUALLY going to jail, which won't happen.
