Quote from: Ulysses on January 29, 2024, 08:38:21 PMI mean, there is NO artist in the past decade or 2 that can even compare to Taylor's popularity. We all know that Beyoncé is the bigger talent, but when it comes to popularity, that white bitch is above the rest. No matter how much of a basic bitch she is.

nnn, remember when some dummies in here thought the Recession Tour would outgross The Eras Tour? Kii

Flea is a famous celebrity, but ultimately irrelevant as an artist to everyone but her core fans

I also think a lot of these guys in sports just want to be a Swiftie to get more attention and fame like that new man. Yes currently she's having a lot of success but Bey and Rih have big careers and accomplishments as well. And they are also in a different point of their careers, different generation, different genre.

And just look at Ariana, you can be super famous and loved for years but it is not a guarantee..we will see in a few years. The overexposure of Taylor might kick in.
Do you even live in America? Taylor and Travis were seeing each other wayyyyy before she appeared at that first game. He's always had a thing for her and even talked about it on the podcast that him and his brother has. If he was doing shit for fame he wouldn't go to another country just to be with her nor would he meet her family. That's facts. Taylor had her overexposure period back from 2009-2018. By the time Reputation came out, people were tired of her. But I have a feeling that she's going to marry Travis, get knocked up, and then put out music every once in a while. I feel like once she marries him, she's gonna slow her music career down.

It is true I don't live in Amerykah  :dead:

No I don't mean he's doing it for fame, I am just saying other athletes and their wives/families might see opportunities. They want to be friends with Taylor or praise her to get love from Swifties or attention in the press. Shannon knows this will get him views for his show, he might be right about the popularity of Taylor right now..but no need to drag Bey and Rih like that. There's popularity sure but the talent and influence they have had can't be denied. It just feels a bit fake to me. I will have to see some receipts about the songs he played on Spotify the past decade.

Yes I also could see her slow down and focus on family. Rihtire at some point.
