yea they really took advantage of this lady's fragile mental state. It shouldn't be legal.

Quote from: Cowgirl on February 25, 2024, 10:34:51 PMI know she's not in her right frame of mind but dementia doesn't suddenly make you a complete asshole out of nowhere.
watching some of these clips I felt as if Wendy's personality was simply intensified

For example : projecting her preexisting insecurities about her weight and appearance in the most vile, blatant way by insisting her employee get liposuction... etc

It seemed like Wendy to me , but x10. Filter completely off

This is actually common in dementia patients. Those who are sweet and kind will become even more sweet. Those who are a bit more mean will become outright monsters.

Exactly! I keep seeing comments trying to excuse her behavior but it's just completely unfiltered Wendy and who she's been all along. The way she reacted to the nail tech after she asked her if she was stupid tells me everything there is to know about Wendy.
it's one of those situations  where 2 things are true at the same time

Wendy is a mess but her condition is def making her behave in an outright disrespectful way as opposed to her usual passive , shady approach

Its still sitting on my DVR ... haven't played it yet

Reminds me of those "my 600 pound life" shows

Watching someone literally eat themselves to death, neglect their hygiene.. live in completely filthy dwellings...

I always asked myself what's the point of sitting down with popcorn to watch something like that. Is it funny? Intriguing ? I honestly don't understand

To me, its human suffering packaged as entertainment

The way she goes from barely finishing sentences to blurting out insults is WILD.

She looked and sounded a lot better for that brief period she went down South to be with the family, so clearly something was working - but then why would Wells and Fargo insist she has a guardian if there wasn't foul play with her money? I don't think it's the son's fault - but that niece gave me fake vibes for sure.

I. Hate. Monica.

The ending sort of change my feelings about it being exploitative

The family was/is trying to shed light on how the guardianship process failed her

as long as there's some sort of end goal.

Yeah Alex is real af, I think her and Travis have Wendy's best intentions at heart.

Kevin...I don't know about him. The $120k birthday party and the $100k in Uber Eats were red flags to me.

Shawn and Will are clearly users.

Wendy has always spoken about not cooking and living a lavish lifestyle. Looks like she rubbed off on him
