even from the time i landed at the airport for the first time....
ill never forget the moment..

as i came up the escalator i saw this art

this lil black child with their arms out, like they were saying welcome home.
u just dont see mess like that in NYC unless you're specifically in a Black art museum or something

the image still lives my mind rent free. thats how impactful it was.

then, walking through the airport i saw all this other Black art...the port was/is literally adorned and drenched with Blackness. i was shocked.

and it doesn't stop there. all over downtown, midtown...just statues of important Black figures, pieces of Black history posted everywhere.

Atlanta is fucking beautiful. I literally stan for this city. I'm so glad my endeavors brought me here.
