Do you know? Because you said it has nothing to do with looks ,when her career was based on her looks. Visuals. She was a visual artist and a model. That's where her legacy lies, not from hiding behind a talk show on radio reading people or something.

There's a difference between discussing something that has continuously affected our community for centuries and is so deep rooted .... that there's no such thing as "growing out of it"....and being on instagram and twitter saying #teamlightskin or #teamdarkskin. This was not a dark vs light skin discussion.

Colorism is a very real issue in our community, and it's ageless. We have senior citizens in our community still discussing people's skin tone. This is a generational disease. So I don't get your comment. Especially when there are things discussed on here which are far more trivial. But mess.
