She's first saying that Motivation (pop music) is not representative of who she is and the music she wanted to do, yet she goes on to say she's not an R&B artist and embodies multiple genres (R&B, pop, dance). She's very well spoken but it seems like she tries way too hard to be edgy (artsy) and mysterious.

I would actually love to hear more pop records from her....

I hate agreeing with you but yeah, all the girls that serve light edge also write their asses of i .e Tinashe, Kehlani, I think Chloe writes too?


Also, I get not wanting to do a whole Pop record but Motivation "era" (and it's sad we have to call a single an era cause this hoe won't release anything) was the happiest I've ever seen her.

GODmani does seem like a naturally bubbly, positive person

every time i see her talking it's just a pleasure...a nice bright aura

but in her defense.....a part of great artistry is becoming a character sometimes - in a sense.
or  just heavily tapping into another side of yourself, and bringing it to the forefront.
