Brandy seems like she doesn't care for too many people to see it since she's ghost.
The public has shown again this week that they don't like her and she doesn't want to repair her image to make them like her.
The public has written for a long time and showed they view Brandy as a colorist, mean girl, and fake. So I am not seeing too many on black twitter push this movie.
So a culmination of Brandy being in chill mode and the public not liking her means the box office is going to be what it is.
It was only a few seats taken for my showing on the 7th. The movie could have smashed if she was committed to it. Commitment to it would have been an easy $10 million opening domestic week for her.

The day you accept that Brandy is now a legacy artist and actress, the better off you'll be. it's not 1998 anymore and sis is perfectly content doing some mess here and there... which is fine. She's been working for 30+ years 

Her public reception isn't really hurt either. This decade has gone much better for her than the 2010's did
