Ariana hasn't really been invested in this project as a whole IMO. I feel like this is her last album with her label/contract and she is just going through the motions with a few surprises here and there before she renegotiates.

Just thinking out loud, Brandy has really opened doors for Monica as far as crossover success opportunities.
She better take advantage this time around because she sounds great on RnB/Pop tracks! I wouldn't be mad
at a Max Martin produced track or that style for Monica's new album!

And the truth of the matter is that the Boy is Mine as a solo record or with any other female would not have been as successful. Monica has consistently out performed Brandy on billboard. Now, Brandy is multifaceted and a bigger all around Star primarily due to movies and TV which I feel is why she is has sold more albums. She has more mass appeal, yes, but the way yall try to play Monica like she's K Michelle or Keke Wyatt is just a bit delusional.
