aging is a natural part of life which none of us are exempt from

i do believe there is such a thing as "aging gracefully" especially for us Black folks.

(and maybe that's the barometer Romero is using to assess how well they are aging. cuz i mean let's be honest . "black dont crack" is a thing, and almost an expectation.)

but if someone is visibly aging it's not gasp-worthy for me unless they're very young and it appears something could be wrong.
