I don't understand why people think Jay-Z is capping for choosing Kendrick as the Super Bowl headliner. And we don't even know if it was him that chose Kendrick. There could be a whole voting and vetting process.

Also, year after year since Jay-Z took on this role, the half-time shows have been black BLACK. We all know that it would've been Rihanna one year and Taylor Swift the next year if it was somebody else in his position.

Lastly, Kendrick had one helluva year. I'm sure media trends and data pointed to him being a great contender. I think it will be great for Wayne to make an appearance, hell even Big Freedia should make an appearance of sorts.
