when she had so much admiration for her

i 100% believe she got that vibe cuz Eve admitted herself she wasnt looking forward to seeing Nicki
so she was def standoffish with her at the very least

and that coulda went left if Nicki returned it to her . and Eve woulda been added to the list of people that "Nicki cant get along with"

Exactly. I'm not trying to necessarily turn Nicki into a victim but they definitely did what they could to portray Nicki as a villain..

The issue with the entire scenario is that it is always the woman's fault. Men create these problems. Why even bring Nicki Minaj into a movie that Eve was already starring in? Nicki came in the game with blanket statement to all of the existing female rappers calling them old and telling them to move. No other female has ever so directly targeted the generation that came before them. Mind you, many of them like Foxy and Eve were not significantly older than her, they had just made it successful much younger.

Eve knew she was wrong and that's why she went and got help. When Barbershop 3 came out Nicki already had 3-4 albums out. She was not some new girl out there dissing the old heads anymore. Also Eve was not the star of that movie or the only female in it so there was no reason why another woman couldn't be cast. Queen Latifah was in Barbershop 2 then got her own spinoff movie with Beautyshop and Eve was fine with that. This was her personal problem that she figured out
