I understood your point but it was irresponsible for you to compare the trans conversation to a black person, same way I felt it was irresponsible for Nicki to show up at the Turning Point event. I understand why she's now embracing republicans and for that I cannot blame her and would probably do the same thing. That being said, she said/did nothing wrong.

It was an example that you don't need to reassure someone who is already comfortable with their situation. You only "its ok to be a boy" someone who isn't okay with being a boy ... which sounds like a trans issue to me.
